Welcome to Groundline Creative, friends, I’m so glad you are here!
I’m Chelsea — an artist, writer, dreamer, musician, photographer, creative professional, and fisheries advocate who struggles to be confined to a single box, and who enjoys the ability to shift gears and change pace frequently.
Groundline Creative is a reimagined version of my first business (formerly Haisman Photography, founded 2012), structured to encompass a broader range of client needs — and my own creative interests — beyond photography. My work has appeared in a variety of publications including The Cordova Times, Edible Alaska, National Fisherman, Pacific Fishing, Hiking Alaska, and online at USA Today and Crude Magazine.
My affinity for outdoor recreation and adventure travel has taken me both near and far, and I look forward to accepting opportunities that include the possibility for travel. I have a passion for lifelong learning, a niche interest in fisheries policy, and a deep love of art and music in all forms. With years of experience in both Mac and PC applications, multiple social media platforms, writing professionally as a non-profit director, as well as an extensive portrait and event photography portfolio, I am here to serve your business in various capacities.
Whether it’s copywriting, family or event photography, drafting an e-mail campaign, meeting execution, or virtual assisting that you need, I can help you elevate your business to the next level. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
In addition to my work here at Groundline Creative, you can find me behind the scenes at Edible Alaska, fishing commercially in Prince William Sound, teaching Marine Safety courses for AMSEA, or adventuring with my kids and dogs.
